Just something I read that I thought was important.  It's about adding extra water to formula or giving too much water to your baby.

Dolly's gone :(

Dolly left yesterday to go home for a few weeks, but she'll be back.  It was sad to see her go, she's been here for nearly 7 months, so we've gotten used to her being around.  I hope she has lots of fun visiting!  We tracked her plane online, it was cool to see where she was at.

Sunday...

This was before we left for church, I'll have to get a picture next weekend of her dress, it's cute.  I think the hat is ridiculous, but it was fun.  Her coat was a Christmas present from Mommy, but she needed it early.

I can't stop laughing at these pictures.  I'm a horrible mother.   :)

Cutting Kendall's hair

Half way done...

So one way that we have learned how to save a little bit of money is for me to cut Kendall's hair myself.  By cut, I basically mean buzz, since I have no skill.  I've done it a few times before, but here's the other night.  I remember Kendall's mom cutting hair one night when I was over, and she was showing me how (she does a much fancier job) and I was such a snob about it, like I won't ever do that or need to, but I'm glad that I can now~

Late Preterm Babies

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/11/AR2008121101430.html

Just interesting study findings released about late preterm babies (34-36 weeks)

They are starting to put more emphasis on the seriousness of preterm inductions/ceseareans that are not medically necessary.  BELIEVE  me, I know what it's like to be at the end of your pregnancy and all you can think about is wanting the baby out :) BUT... no matter how convienent it is for your schedule ..etc... please, please think about the risks!  No judgy mcjudging here, I know that sometimes, you just have to do what is best for you and your family...

Christmas Stocking...

I made this stocking over the last few weeks...it was a project that Kendall's mom gave me a while ago.   I realize the heel looks oddly shaped, but other than that I think it turned out well.  The back is just green felt.  It is all needlepoint, and I hand stitched it all together.  You can click on the picture for more detail.  It was fun, but I'm glad to be done with it.

I didn't get a picture, but we learned today that Mady can climb up stairs.  I've tried to show her a few times when I go downstairs to do laundry, but she's never seemed interested.  Well today we were heading back upstairs, and I put her down to show her again, and she just cruised right up them.  :)

Mad scientist hair after bath...
Gingerbread man from Grandma Alison
I was getting ready in the bathroom so I let Mady in, because she stands up at the door and bangs on it, and two seconds later she attacked the toilet paper.  She wouldn't be a normal baby if she didn't experience this hehe
