I'm never going to get to go home

I'm sad that it cost $866 EACH to fly home to Anchorage.  That doesn't even get us home :( We'd still have to drive 2 1/2 hours more.  Can both our families just move here? :)  I am so jealous of the people who can just visit their families over the weekend.

Dolly's gone :(

Dolly left yesterday to go home for a few weeks, but she'll be back.  It was sad to see her go, she's been here for nearly 7 months, so we've gotten used to her being around.  I hope she has lots of fun visiting!  We tracked her plane online, it was cool to see where she was at.
