Just got home...

Okay.  I just got home from watching this movie with Kendall, and I feel like it has a GREAT message.  It had it's flaws, and a few corny lines, but I really feel compelled to share this movie.  Some of the corniness was from the dialogue, and it is one of those 'Christian'/faith/Baptist movies...so if you can get past that, the message of the movie will tug on your heart and maybe even get you thinking.

My teacher of my Building Eternal Marriage class suggested that we go watch this movie, and it was worth a few extra points if I did, so I thought, it's a win win.  Anyways, since TWILIGHT was going to be ridiculously packed and all that, we figured we'd go watch this.  We walked in about 5 minutes late and the movie hadn't been started yet, and we were the ONLY people in there. LOL. But about 10 more people showed up right after us.  Anyways.  The movie isn't playing everywhere, but if it is, you won't regret going (If you can excuse a few cheesy lines) ;)

Pumpkin Pie!

This is not staged, she really was doing this and crying out because she couldn't get it!
Don't worry, our oven is not hot in any spot outside it, totally safe.  And she can't open it.
This was really cute..sort of.  It was 8 a.m. when we decided to pull all the pots out and bang them, but good times.

Random things

New Outfit from Jenny that finally fits...it has cute ruffles on the back of her pants!
I made rolls! Like with yeast and everything!  Yum!
This is an outfit we brought home from Alaska, it was a gift from Dawn...finally fits!

Check me out in my new car seat!  It's a convertible so she can stay rear facing for as long as possible!

Grandpa Aaron Hair?

We tried to get a family picture one night when Dolly was gone, so we had our fridge take the picture.

Celebrate Military Service

Thank you Veterans

RRJ

She was young and beautiful inside and out.
She was humble, and didn't know that she was beautiful.
She had her whole life ahead of her.
She made me smile and made me laugh.
She comforted her friends in need.
She loved to play with my hair.
She was an athlete, with a great attitude that was contagious.
Eight years later, I can still remember the sound of her voice.
She loved her family and friends with all her heart.
She could have been a mother or a wife, but instead she is an angel above.
I know I will see her again, and it will be like she never left.

Today I needed to remember her, things that I loved about her.  I usually try not to, because even though time has passed, it is still difficult.  Please wear your seatbelt, I couldn't bear to lose another.

$4 D.I. Toy

Okay it was a little too dark and our camera doesn't focus in poor lighting, but I wanted to post these pics anyway.  We found this little table toy at the D.I. for $4 (Thank you who ever dropped it off there!) And we put batteries in it and it works.  When you push the different buttons the Elmo had moves around and sings the ABCs or says what color you pushed..etc.  MADY LOVES IT...oh man.  Lets just say I'm very grateful for the on/off button because you can only listen to Elmo so many times.  :)

Curls

I believe Mady's hair might be curly :)
