Anniversary!

Not really important, but I loved my flowers.

Dorks at heart.

I'm posting this early in case I don't have time to do it tomorrow. We've made it 2 years! :)

15 months old!

Mady has her 15 month check up on Wednesday so I'll post her stats then...but I can't believe she is growing up so fast. 3 more months until Nursery lol! (For those of you who don't know, that is the 18 mo-3 year age group at church)

"Snow Angel"

An "ash angel" imprint was made in the snow at Nadia Daggett's four-plex near Mile 25 of the Kenai Spur Highway in Nikiski around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Accepted!

Yay! The last two semesters I've spent changing my major haven't been for nothing! Since I was changing from a B. of Arts to a B of Science I had to take some extra classes (like stats...ick)... but I got an email saying I've been accepted into the Social Work program!

Isn't she lovely?

Obi Mady

I thought the lighting looked nice for these pics! Please ignore the Christmas lights that are still up! I think we're doing ok.. .the neighbors down the street still have full out decorations, including 6 animated light reindeer and a full blowup Santa... :)

Baby time!

I did a little baby sprinkle for my good friend Wanita...isn't she cute!?

It's been so long since...

I blogged!

My life has been... busy. Last week Mady was running a fever of between 103 and 104 for two days, and to be honest, it was a little scary. She had no other symptoms but we tried to get her into her regular peds but they were booked all week and they told us to take her to Community Care. It's just a walk in clinic here in town. I was not impressed. But who's really ever happy about going to the doctor? The 15 minute swab test turn an hour later to get the results.. Some guy finally came in and said "oh your doctor left, I guess I'll finish up here" so, she didn't have the flu or strep. They decided they needed to get a UA so they hooked her up with a 'wee bag' to collect and sent us home. They called me about three hours later and told me they'd call in a prescription and to not worry about the UA test ... Well she's finally feeling better (after getting a rash from the antibiotics) I guess they finally settled on a possible UTI althought it wasn't confirmed. Add the fact that I got sick as well with a rotten cold/allergies ... and two fatty papers for school ... I'm pretty much spent. I got my first 6 hours straight of sleep in weeks on Monday night though, that was amazing. I also applied for the Social Work program on the 6th! I should find out Fridayish.

Today was also the first day it was warm enough to go for a walk! We walked around town for hours, and it was great to get outside! All the snow is melted except for a few tiny piles here and there!

Now for the pictures...

First french braid!
Hehe it got really quiet and this is what I found

Mady loves pulling all the shoes out and trying them on

Hehehe

I stole this from Aubrey's blog hehehe

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a
distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the
flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such
as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed
undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes
the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems,
but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate

Dear Desperate,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears
6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that
application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run
the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband
1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the
Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law
1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize
control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0
program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider
buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We
recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
