Weight loss update

I haven't said anything about this in a while, but I'm still doing great! I've lost 16 lbs! I can't believe it! I really didn't believe it could happen. Kendall says you can really see it in my face and my waist. I went down a pant size a few weeks ago, and I can't even wear the old pants without hiking them up constantly! AND now these new pants are getting loose! whoo hoo!

Oh yeah, I'm not sure if I can count this weeks loss of 2 lbs because I had food poisoning AGAIN on Monday. What the heck? Same thing again, ate, felt sick with in thirty minutes or so, fought the feeling of nausea all night and then woke up at about 3:30 and threw up violently until it was all out in about a minute. :( Then Tuesday I could barely leave the bathroom or get off the couch. Today I feel 100% though. Weird.

Saturday

We went to the sand dunes with our friends Sat night and I am still cleaning sand out of Mady's shoes, the car, her clothes, my clothes, the diaper bag.... :)

Yay! The spray park is on and Mady loves it!

Bugs and Spray Park

We were all excited because Kendall saw they turned the spray park on Friday and so we got Mady ready and walked down and they had turned it off already. They were just making sure it would run alright for this weekend when they were really turning it on. There was still standing water left in the slides so Mady splashed in that. I love her little swimsuit! Her swim diapers from last year still fit and we still have a whole package of them left...can't wait to go to Heise again!

This is our back 'yard' but Mady loves exploring the dirt. Mostly she loves stepping on the ants. Gross.

These stupid bugs were banging on our window for three nights and now they're gone. Two got in the house, and they are ginormous so of course I freaked out. I swear they were chasing me around. Kendall says I body slammed him against the hall to get away from them, but I was in 'flight or fight' mode! I couldn't help it!

Ok another weight loss post

I lost more this week, so I've lost 10 lbs now! :)

OH and I got a A - on my first human biology exam (which covered 5 chapters, about 20 pages of study guides!!) so that was super exciting . . I've basically been living and breathing that class, so I'm glad it paid off! I'm glad I'm not taking it with a whole bunch of other classes, because I know I wouldn't have the time to put in so much studying! We get to go to the movies tonight to see Star Trek! Kendall already saw it last Sat but he wants me to see it so our friends Wade and Amanda are babysitting for us.

Weight Loss update

I did better with working out last week and I've lost another 1.5 lbs. I fell off the wagon this weekend though on Friday and Saturday night. I did okay with my portions I think and calories, but I had a rootbeer float Friday night and then Saturday we ate dinner at Jack and Wanita's... the food was good, but um.. well it tasted good so that can't be good LOL.

So Kendall got off the phone, and University of Phoenix has ... 'ties' or something with the military, so they took Kendall's ssn and were able to pull up his G.I. bill, just like that.

Wow.

So we've been tossing the idea back and forth over the last few months... about Kendall going to get his Associates in information technology/networking. So we've looked at the options around here and .. .well we just don't see how Kendall could be working full time and going to school full time in I.F. . . while I'm going to school full time. Anyways, I thought we'd check out University of Phoenix online just for the heck of it. So to request information, they have this automated system where you fill in your information and they'll send you info. When we put in our zip code, it came up with a town we've never heard of. So there's this little button on the side of the webpage that is for live chat questions. Within seconds we were connected online with 'Marcus' who I think was an automated person lol, but someone called Kendall on his phone within .. oh about 45 seconds after the chat ended! It's a counselor from that program. I think that's pretty dang amazing service LOL.

It is supposed to be nice today except FOR THE WIND THAT WON'T QUIT! But I'm hopeful for next week!

Weight Loss

The journey is going good, we haven't given up on it yet! I figured we'd last a week, but it's already been over two! I've lost 7 lbs! We measured ourselves again tonight and I've lost 2 inches from my rib cage area and Kendall's lost an inch from that same place. He's also lost an inch from his stomach. Whoo hoo!

I am getting on the next flight to Alaska. Pronto.

I don't know what kind of spider this is but I am pretty sure it is the spider I saw sticking out of the thermostat on Sunday in the bathroom. I thought it was dead and I was in a hurry and I couldn't find Kendall ('cause there's no way I was going to go near it) and I forgot about it in the excitement of going to Jack and Wanita's ward for Keith's blessing. Anyways, I went in the kitchen tonight and there it was. EWWWWW I hate hate hate spiders.

We drove to Idaho Falls Saturday, and this is what I saw in my mirror:

While I was washing our sheets and blankets, Mady decided to learn how to jump on the bed:

Oh and we went to the ped for her weight check, and she's 20.5 lbs!! :) and I'm sure she has grown because she can reach the countertops in the kitchen and touch the door handles throughout the house. She started saying 'Hi', 'shoe' (more like shshsh) last week. She is obsessed with her shoes. The first thing she does when she wakes up is ask for her shoes, or go find them and bring them to me :)
